Thank You for Supporting Community Resource Center
Community Resource Center (CRC)’s mission is to help our neighbors create paths to healthy food, stable homes and safe relationships. As a provider of integrative services, CRC’s programs include a domestic violence emergency shelter, hotline and prevention/education outreach, a Therapeutic Children’s Center, professional counseling, legal advocacy, food and nutrition distribution center, homelessness prevention and rental and housing assistance.
Community Impact
Healthy Food: Each month, over 400 households - seniors, unsheltered individuals and struggling families - obtain healthy food at our Food & Nutrition Center. In 2020, 13,036 visits were made to our center, providing over 500,000 pounds of food to community members in need.
Stable Homes: CRC assists unsheltered individuals and those who are at risk of becoming unsheltered with housing, resources, rental assistance, financial education and individualized support. In 2020, 475 individuals found safe housing through our intervention programs, domestic violence shelter and transitional units.
Safe Relationships: Families and individuals escaping domestic violence find safety and healing through our shelter and housing, counseling, Therapeutic Children’s Center and legal advocacy. In 2020, we responded to 1,990 calls on our 24-hour domestic violence hotline and provided compassionate care through 1,341 counseling sessions.
